funnily enough it was a post you made in the public chat of the old website, something I stumbled upon while checking it out for nostalgia purposes
In terms of other potential ways to advertise, websites such as reddit may be of use

a group effort recruiting within the game may be useful, the majority who join would probably be temp members who don't even bother checking out the forms, however their will definitely be those that do, which could prove to be an effective recruitment method

The thing is, people have to sign up on the forums in order to become a member. Website advertising can get you muted, maybe worse if it's second or third offense.  |

We crossed paths, cause Marktenoh encouraged me to go for 99 fire making, and to finally stop putting it off. (I tend procrastinate a little too much.) If I wasn't working on that skill, I would've been in the mines, instead of the great exchange.
